Giving Gardens
Plant a row for the hungry!  The Marysville Community Food Bank needs your fresh garden produce and tree fruit. When planning your garden, please plant a little extra to share with the hungry.

Giving Gardens is sponsored by the City of Marysville, Marysville Noon Rotary, The Plant Farm, and Sunnyside Nursery.

We even want your monster squash!

When you have zucchini coming out your ears, the food bank is the perfect place to bring your harvest.  We accept all garden produce and especially need carrots, radishes, turnips, beets, squash, cabbage, beans, peas, and tomatoes.  Join the WSU Master Gardeners, Marysville-Pilchuck High School students, Sunnyside Nursery, and many individuals by growing food for the food bank.  The clients love receiving fresh produce!

2011 Extra bonus: If you can grow 63 pounds of fresh produce for Giving Gardens in 2011, Sunnyside Nursery’s 63rd Anniversary, Sunnyside Nursery will give you a $25 dollar gift certificate to the nursery for 2012 vegetable gardening plants and supplies.

Marysville Middle School Family Night:  We will be in attendance at Family Night on February 23 to provide information on the Food Bank.  Stop on by and say hi!
